The Recruitment and Retention Workshop was held on September 19 and 20 in McCook. The Instructors put on a great workshop with really good participation among those in attendance.

South Central District 7 Fall Fire School was held in Parkston on Sept. 12. Classes included Small Departments Matter and Firefighters and EMTs Working Together for a Common Goal. Submitted by Jenna Moege.

     The SD Firefighters Assn. Board decided that since the annual fire school for June was cancelled, they wanted to hold a fall conference. It was held Sept. 25 & 26 at the Ramkota in Pierre.
