On Thursday Dec. 1, 2022 at 8:33 p.m. the Guttenberg Fire Department was dispatched to 523 N. 2nd Street for a fully involved structure fire with people possible still inside. Upon arrival of the first fire personnel, it was determined there was smoke and fire coming from the south end of a group home assisted living residence. We were advised that there were five individuals that lived there, and staff had not accounted for all of them yet.
